Mawbound

This is my first attempt at a real game as a first year in game design, I took heavy inspiration from titles such as Destiny, The last descendant, Warframe etc in making an ability based looter-shooter. The game itself only represents a single mission due to the scale I had in mind.

The world is set in a sort of post-apocalyptic theme, with the solar system being invaded by mysterious entities of unknown power and the various creatures that followed during humanity's first successful attempt at colonising the system. In its wake, select humans who encountered "The Maw" awakened powers akin to their exposure, granting them the ability to protect humanity from their dooming threat. Earth has been completely overrun at this time and those who survived were forced to race into space, inhabiting the colony ships of humanity's once grand ambitions.
